I'm glad to see you made it here safely, thank you for stopping by! Get ready to hear me blabber on about this, that and the other. Here you will find a daily dose of my world living as a normal 20-something trying to live the dream!

My name is Karen and I've made it to the crazy world of blogging, finally! Better late than never right? I'm 26 years old, reluctantly, and I live with my amazing husband of 6 years and our crazy cat name Sweet Dee (yes, after Dee Reynolds of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, lol).

I'm a creative at heart who got stuck with two left brains! I work full time in the amazing and exiting world of accounting but I have a million and one hobbies and interests that don't require as much brain power and this is the place where I will unleash it all!

A Rented Life came to be out of my incessant need to fix up all the rental apartments we have lived in over the past 6 years. I have always loved home decor and home improvements, and I could talk all day long about it. But to spare my family's ears, I decided to put it all on here. At least people can discretely click the red X and I won't even know it!
